Superheros and Superheroines

Superman is a Dick
Planet.Gnome.org looked more like Planet.nat.org today as it was flooded by a stream of posts from Nat Friedman. You can almost tell Nat is a former CEO given his admiration for the intricate plans of super villians. Nat writes Superman asshole and gives his reasons. Not convinced? Need more documentary evidence? Then you should take a look at the website Superman is a Dick which catalogues his awful behaviour and also includes some unintentionally hilarious classic comic book covers. I don't think Superman is intentionally malicious but the farm boy has just never been all that bright.
The next Superman movie is on the horizon, and with X-Men director Bryan Singer at the helm it should be good.  The X-Men, that reminds me of way back in the early nineties and the first time I tried to search the web for X-Men comics. The results weren't pretty and had nothing to do with comics.  The Worldwide Web has been a cesspool of smut for a very long time, but thankfully now it is easier to avoid what you do not want to see.

Fantastic Four: Jessica Alba is Miss Fantastic alright!
There is something mesmerising about Jessica Alba as Sue Storm (more pictures). The blonde hair and blue eyes couldn't be anymore unnatural but nonetheless captivating. She has come a long way from playing Max Guevera in the short lived TV series Dark Angel to Nancy Callaghan the angelic stripper and most adored woman in Sin City.
Jessica Alba was also featured in the Sunday Times Culture section creating even more publicity for her upcoming films.
Guess I'm just a sucker for blondes.

Trivia: Alba is the Irish word for Scotland.
Alan reviews Frank Miller's Sin City.
